My daughter had her wedding and reception at La Cappella. The outside courtyard is beautiful for ceremonies! The bridal room is absolutely amazing, with plenty of space to get ready. We had many guests comment on how nice it was. Shanna was our hostess for the night , and was amazing! She was there to help anytime we asked. Beautiful venue!!

If you haven’t been to La Cappella recently, you have to book a tour! Tricia and her amazing team have transformed the whole space into something magical.

The staff is so friendly and helpful, and they will all make sure your event is perfect! They have high attention to detail and professionalism! I would highly reccomend them for any event.

My now wife and I just got married here on July 29th, 2023. It’s a beautiful venue and there were lots of wonderful things but a lot of issues too. We’ve never been married before, so we chose this place because it included a coordinator for only $5,000 for a wedding and ceremony for 100 guests. We only spoke with our coordinator two or three times throughout the whole process. The first time she called to tell us that we’d be having a lentil bolognaise. It didn’t sound good to us but it sounded like she had already decided for us. We later requested a fancy French toast buffet and they confirmed they could provide it. Second time was 11 days before the wedding. She sent us a bill over $2,000 higher than we planned and demanded for it to be due the next day. Every time we called to ask questions or to figure things out, La Capella was too busy to take our calls and was only available to meet in person. There was also an issue with them getting and receiving our emails so essentially, we were barely involved in the planning of our own wedding. We did have two meetings with Tricia, who I believe is the new owner. Our first meeting did allow us to tell her what we were wanting at our wedding but apparently there was some confusion because we were charged $400 for greenery we didn’t ask for. She also talked us into a photo booth instead of bringing our own disposable cameras which we loved until she charged us an extra $250 for an additional hour we didn’t ask for. BTW, the photo booth was great but we were charged for more time than we agreed upon. They didn’t communicate to us that we would get paper napkins by default if we changed to a buffet. They charged us for a Martinelli’s toast and didn’t tell us it was something we needed to provide. Also, they gave us a new coordinator we hadn’t met until the day before the wedding. They also have a rule where you can’t bring your own food in. You have to use their kitchen. This worried my wife as she's vegan and we're always concerned about who’s preparing her food. We asked for something simple but elevated for a wedding. We asked for a vegan French TEXAS toast buffet with a variety of syrups, fruits and whipped topping, as well as a vegan sausage, hashbrowns and eggs regardless of the cost as the food was a big priority for us. I won’t lie, I tried to be cool but I was embarrassed because guests thought the French toast was a steak or sausage (See attached photo). It was definitely not thick Texas toast and it was pretty dark and unrecognizable. There was no ketchup offered with the hashbrowns either. We’ll give the chef lots of credit because everything tasted good but this is something we could make restaurant style at home and we were ultimately disappointed. Other than that, there were all sorts of timing issues and awkward moments where we needed instrumental music or for someone to guide our guests, especially because we were told someone would be in charge of that. Instead, there was no music when there needed to be and our guests suddenly started leaving. I would’ve liked to have taken charge but I was pretty busy with guests and photos on our day. In the end, we were elated to get married but had we done anything different, we would’ve just gotten married in our back yard. I wouldn’t recommend this place simply because they have the demeanor that they don’t have time for you. It's a beautiful venue with tons of value but it's not as special when you're not heard. We only had two physical meetings the entire planning process and the second meeting, Tricia was 15 minutes late and claimed it was for an important reason but still showed up with an iced coffee from Starbuck’s. If your wedding isn’t that important or you don’t care about the details, I’d recommend La Capella. They’ll plan it for you and charge you more than agreed upon.

My client party was a huge success! The event center La Cappella at Canterbury was perfect to host my party. The decoration, flowers, food, games, and service was top notch. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is the best place to host a wedding, party, gathering, or even meeting. If you have an event in mind I highly suggest you check it out!

The wedding of our dreams! We just got married July 15th! If you are looking for a beyond beautiful wedding venue with amazing staff and an insanely accommodating coordinator/owner.. stop looking! You found it!

We had the best day ever here and everything honestly felt too easy. We didn’t have to worry about a thing! I kept thinking there were things I had forgotten or loose ends to tie up, but no. The owner/coordinator had taken care of absolutely everything! I would call and email all the time with questions all the time! Lol they were always super quick with getting back to me made me feel at ease. Everyone was soo professional and yet they also made me feel soo at home. And don’t even get me started on the food!!!! 😋🤤 To die for!!! We only had to meet with our coordinator Tricia a couple of times and she completely captured our vision!!

We had our wedding in the courtyard and it was STUNNING!!! Hanging lights and flowers everywhere! The building photographs soo well!!!

I had my wedding reception here and it was absolutely lovely. My situation was quite unique bc I had signed my contract with past management. La cappella was very flexible and accommodating. Although stressful it all turned out great in the end and I can’t thank La cappella enough for such a wonderful time. The venue was beautifully decorated from head to toe and the crapes were outstanding. Thank you!!!
