Historic place to visit for a nice freshly baked and coke food. A long queue from the out side but it move fast. Few simply selection for the main course. Side dishes were nice too. Lovely homey setting.

We had our daughters reception at the Lion House June 2019. The facility is really expensive and you have to use their catering services. We were very disappointed. Here just a few reasons why: 1) lack of and difficulty with communication/coordination with our assigned wedding planner 2) seating capacity 3) extra charges for small things such as extra easels 4) lack of pre-reception set up time 5) food portions are really small and they don't allow you see or tasted the selections before finalizing your choices 6) The "sound system" for background music was a small portable boom box plugged into a cheap portable speaker. It was ridiculous. With all the events that take place, one would hope that at minimum pictures of the entree, dessert and side courses would be available to at least look at.

Lion house is a historic place. It is located near tourist place and the parking garage, so walking to it is not that far. The food taste good. I think they change their menu often. The price was a little to high for college students and the place can get really noisy when it's packed.

The Lion House was the perfect place to host our immediate family wedding luncheon. We wanted something small but refined, and this place was just right. We had our luncheon in the Garden Room, which we highly recommend - the room was very beautiful. The food was phenomenal! Our guests still talk about how delicious the food was - and they were very accommodating to some slight variations we requested in our menu selection. Our event coordinator was incredible - she was very attentive and polite, and helped make our luncheon the best it could be. The only letdown was their music system was temporarily down, so we had to enjoy our luncheon without pleasant background music. The Lion House is an excellent choice for a wonderful wedding luncheon. NOTE: The entry for the Lion House Banquets/Events is through the front, the entry for the Pantry/Cafe is on the left.

This place is awesome! Fantastic food and such a fun atmosphere. The history of the Lion House and the unique interior design and feel of the different rooms is a really fun experience!

Loved it! The rolls were super good. Very well kept up, super clean overall. Very recommended to eat here.

We had salad, chicken, and mashed potatoes with asparagus. The rolls are fresh-baked and come to the table warm. They are served with butter and honey-butter. All of the food was excellent but the rolls were the highlight. We had some kind of cake for dessert. I'm not sure what it was but it was tasty. No alcohol is served at Lion House. It's nice to have your own room for a private gathering.
