I'm going to review this place with only facts, you decide whether or not this is someplace you would like to do business with or not. I came here shopping for a new truck for my family, the salesman that attended me, Calixto, was very helpful in that search as he showed me several vehicles until I landed on the 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche 2500. This is the truck with the photos I took for this review.

Now upon first test driving the vehicle I noticed a ton of smoke emitting from the exhaust and the engine sounded unusually loud and the outer frame rattled as well. I told him to make the necessary repairs and I'll see about purchasing the vehicle, Calixto agreed and when I asked how long he said about a week.

A week passes and I inquire about the truck. No repairs were made. I had never received a phone call or anything even though we exchanged phone numbers. When I asked why this was, they told me I needed to put a 500 dollar deposit down first, then they would repair it. Ok, fair enough, if they would have said that a week ago I would have done that instead of wasting time. So I pay the deposit and wait another week.

The week passes and I see they have indeed repaired the truck. No more excessive smoke at least. I pray the down payment and drive off with my new truck, happy at the time thinking everything was finally fine. I drove it to a few places, not very far at all. To work which was about 5 minutes away from my house, and to Sleepy Hollow NY, for a Halloween parade. I noticed it needed coolant so I got some there after it stalled trying to go in reverse, it started up again so it was fine and drove back home with the family.

The date of purchase was around October 14th, and it wasn't even a month later in November 13th that it broke down on me on my way to work, which again is only 5 minutes away, not a tough commute at all. I called the dealers and they gave me the number to a tow truck and their mechanic. I tried jump starting the car and even phoned a friend to jump it but it didn't work so I had no choice but to tow it to the mechanic, at least it was covered by the warranty so it wouldn't come out of pocket.

Once there the mechanic took my name and number and said they would call me when it was ready, I asked how long exactly and they just said it would take about a week for the parts to come in and the repairs should be ready the following Saturday. Ok fine, so a week passes by no call. The next day after I decide to call them and they said the parts still haven't arrived. Long story short with the mechanic they never called me not even once to inform me about any part of the repair, not even when it was completed. I had to keep calling them every other day just to see what's happening and what to expect. This was in November the 14th, it is now December 5th upon writing this review and I only received my truck yesterday on the 4th. It could have been on the 3rd when it was actually competed but Arnold DeLeon, owner, wanted to test drive it first and he couldn't be bothered to do it on a Sunday even though the Dealership was open.

I paid my monthly payment with them, I asked if they could return the vehicle to me if I drove over there with my other car and they drove my truck with me to my home, that was a no, so again I had to ask a friend for help.

Overall I'm grateful that the truck is up and running again though the entire experience has been incredibly frustrating to say the least. The truck seems to be running much better now however and the mechanic even fixed the radio that couldn't eject cd's, so that's a plus. It could have been a much better experience if they had simply done what was required of them much more efficiently instead of trying to sell me a truck that wasn't even repaired correctly to begin with.

This was best car lot I visited after looking for the impossible find for 2 months. I had narrowed down my search to 3 models of SUV and they had all of them at good prices so I got to take my time and chose. They were very free and patient with me checking out and researching several vehicles and were really helpful and accommodating with repairs and financing. Highly recommended as the best lot between Queens and Kingston. Not pushy of slimy at all. -Jess

The initial genuine warm greeting we felt from Mr. De Leon gave us a positive feeling about the dealership. We had been through some bad experiences with other dealers and it was refreshing to conduct business with an honest businessman.

I didn’t want to put one star. I had to take this dealership to court and exercise the lemon law. Sold me a car with issues from the moment I drove it off the lot. Salesman, “no, no problem “ lies!
